Job Description

Job title: Event Coordinator
Hours: 40 p/w
Location: Gloucester

My client is an internationally known Telecoms business that due to growth require additional Event`s Coordinators. The business has a fantastic reputation for developing their staff and creating a progressive and dynamic work environment.

Event Coordinator responsibilities:

" Communicating and consulting with customers via various methods (email, phone & social media) to identify their conferencing requirements and booking these into the Reservations system
" Assisting with the entry of participants to their events
" Facilitating and delivering standard and high profile / VIP events for Global Enterprise Companies
" Completing all relevant support duties and administrative duties in line with the above
" Delivering and maintaining a high level of customer service and in line with Service Level Agreements
" Liaising directly with all customers in a pleasant, professional and pro-active manner to provide a seamless service with all touch points
" Applying customer issue resolution where necessary
" Ensuring the smooth and seamless running of all events and bookings is a priority across Audio and Web
" Develop knowledge of the client database and keep up to date with client requirements and tailoring approach accordingly
" Maintain consistent high levels of quality
" Identify and feedback to your line manager for any issues or areas where service can be improved
" Other ad-hoc duties as required

Event Coordinator desired Skills and Experience:

" Excellent verbal and written communication skills
" Fluent in Italian, speaking & writing is essential
" Excellent customer service skills
" Proven experience in a customer service environment
" Competent computer and keyboard skills
" Professional and confident telephone manner
" Positively motivated individual able to take responsibility
" Ability to work on own initiative, and as part of a team
" Honest, reliable and committed to the success of the company
" Adaptable, flexible approach to working
" Able to work under pressure
