Job Description

Brook Street are looking for staff for an educational event in Wadebridge.

The dates on which staff is needed are the 21st and 22nd of March:
22nd March - 8 people from 1pm-6pm
23rd March - 15 people from 8am-4pm

The pay rate is £8.00 per hour - people that have their own transport are preferred as it makes things a lot easier - travel expenses are not covered.

Candidates will need to be:
- Physically fit - you will be on your feet all day (you will have an hour lunch but food is not provided - bring your own pack lunches!)
- Reliable
- Capable
- Good with people
- Excellent customer service - you will be directing people and speaking to them all day so need to have good customer service skills.

DAY 1: The first day will consist of setting up stands - so some lifting with be included. You will be expected to make sure that everything is in the right place and everything is running smoothly for the next day. You will also be expected to read through the Health and Safety/Manual Handling packs that are provided.

DAY 2: You will be required to meet and greet customers/members of the public to make sure that they are catered for. You will be required to guide them and direct them to various rooms and areas of the venue - ensuring that they are safe in doing so and are comfortable with where they are.

T-shirts will be provided for you. Black trousers and shoes will be required to wear as uniform - black jeans CAN be worn but need to be smart - no rips or distressed jeans etc. Shoes will need to be black and comfortable!
