Job Description
My client are a young and enthusiastic media company based in Clapham South. They are looking for an experienced Events & Registration Co-ordinator to join their company. You would be responsible for registrations of delegates and organising a portfolio of conferences.
DUTIES & SKILLS REQUIRED
Events
o Delivering events on time, within budget, that exceed expectations.
o Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
o Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
o Managing supplier relationships
o Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
o Travelling to conferences and managing events on the day, including all suppliers, speakers, sponsors, delegates
o Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
o Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery whilst working to tight deadlines.
Registration
o Knowledge of a CRM database system required
o Knowledge of Xero Accounting System preferred, but not essential
o Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications
o Accurate and fast typing is essential; do not apply if your typing speed is below 60wpm as you will be tested at interview.
o You will be expected make accurate recording of progress on the CRM system and work to a tight schedule.
o Monitoring a Microsoft Outlook in-box and recording results against the CRM database
o Ad hoc data duties that may involve retyping up large lists
o Cross referencing post-event data with registrations and follow up invoicing
o Post event data processing
o Weekly company updates for registrations
o There are busy periods of work leading up to conferences where the workload will increase dramatically, and the candidate will need to be able to prioritise work
