I am working with a charity who are looking for a Sporting and Challenges Events Coordinator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The salary for this role, dependant on experience is £21,500. You will be responsible for planning, developing, marketing and delivery of a number of key fundraising events within the sporting and challenge events programme. You will be the first point of contact for enquiries and effectively manage the whole journey of our fundraisers. You will develop and grow the sporting and challenges calendar of events, assisting with their campaigns. The right candidate will be; a competent user of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook, a creative thinker, have a good understanding of Social Media and have attention to detail.

Your main responsibilities will be;
-Be responsible for the administration of events within the Event Programme.
-Monitor and compile reports on participant and financial information to key events.
-Develop the events calendar removing & adding events to fall in line with Head of Fundraisings plans.
-Help to plan, prepare and evaluate event programme.
-Attend the events, working outside normal hours at weekends and evenings when required & assisting in the set up and break down of event equipment which requires manual handling skills.
-Help to build and manage teams of volunteers where necessary.
-Member of Social Media Team being responsible for proactive and reactive posts.
-Confident with face to face PR & talking to local businesses to promote our Special Events and Sporting and Challenges events.
