Job Description

We have a new opportunity arising due to some movement in our Fundraising Team therefore.... We are looking for a new sparky, sociable Events and Fundraising Administrator.
Based in Leatherhead we're a widely recognised charity working with the young in regard to certain medical conditions, offering support and guidance to families. We've got a great team here in fundraising, due to the nature of our job we like to keep a smile on our faces and get involved with some fundraising activities as much as we can. We can boast great retention and I think that's really testament to the fact people generally like working here!
As Events Fundraising Administrator your new jobs main function is to provide support and assistance to our busy Fundraising team. You'll be working closely with and alongside our Events teams helping to create successful fun times.
Your new job is Monday to Friday 9-5 but there will be a couple of Events for you to attend on weekends as well. Not all events are essential for you to attend but as a valued member of the team we wouldn't want you to miss out, after all it is your hard work that goes into helping everything run smoothly.
Other basics of the role include keeping our databases up to date for fundraising records. Making sure participants are receiving the information they need. Collating and collecting donations along with people registering and volunteering their time.

The ideal candidate will have IT skills for using standard Database and Communications software.
A big part of your role will be speaking to both the rest of the team and supporters of the charity so we want you to have a great telephone manner.

The big important essential criteria for this role actually comes down to your attitude and personality. We want somebody with a smile on their face and a spring in their step. Fundraising Is meant to be fun. We know the reasons people get involved with a charity can be heart breaking and difficult to cope with but that's why we're here. So to fit in... we want you to be able to add even more positivity to the team!

If this all sounds like you then please do get in touch!
