Exams & Assessment Administrator

Location: Cardiff, Llanishen based or Bangor, North Wales - Hybrid (flexibility for the right candidate)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE
Contract: Permanent

Are you highly organised, detail-focused and passionate about maintaining quality and integrity? We're looking for an Exams & Assessment Officer to play a key role in the secure and successful delivery of examinations and assessments across Wales and beyond.

About the Role

As Exams & Assessment Officer, you will coordinate and administer assessment delivery activities, ensuring processes are accurate, secure and fully compliant. You'll manage assessment materials, support centres with assessment administration, maintain audit-ready records and help ensure results are processed efficiently and accurately.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coordinating the delivery of examinations and assessments
  • Managing the secure handling and distribution of assessment materials
  • Maintaining accurate records, tracking systems and audit trails
  • Supporting the processing and release of assessment results
  • Providing clear written guidance to centres and internal teams
  • Investigating, recording and escalating assessment incidents and risks
  • Supporting regulatory, audit and quality assurance activities

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder support skills
  • Experience working within controlled processes or compliance environments
  • Experience in education, awarding organisations or regulated sectors is desirable

Welsh language skills are desirable.
Full driving licence and occasional UK travel, including overnight stays, may be required.
