Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit an Executive Assistant. This is a contract role based in Reading for 18 months.
As a Brook Street contractor you will be entitled to 25 days holiday per annum, 8 days paid Bank Holidays pro rota, discounted gym membership, use of the onsite health facility, access to online learning and training, free parking and an excellent subsidised restaurant.
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits
The main purpose of the Executive Assistant is to provide support to our company's Services Senior Leadership Member (SSLM) and to be a trusted right-hand person and conscience for the SSLM and the business.
As an ambassador for the SSLM, both internally and externally, the EA will need to demonstrate a high degree of customer facing and interpersonal skills. The EA is to ensure smooth and seamless integration and management of the SSLM's office, applying pro-activity, initiative, discretion and confidentiality to all tasks.
" Efficiently manage the SSLM's office in a professional manner; being the 'go to' person in the absence of the SSLM.
" Responsible for liaison and scheduling of all meetings.
" Work alongside the Leadership team to prepare executive presentations/communications to internal/external audiences.
" Represent the SSLM/Business Manager at Timezone level meetings with the Global Business manager.
" Proactive diary management
" Facilitate information flow with 100% discretion.
" Operate as an ambassador for the SSLM's office.
" Responsible for relationship management with large corporations.
" All travel arrangements to be identified and made well in advance; preparation of the trip's agenda and full briefing.
" Electronic calendar management; knowledge of scheduling diverse individuals across multiple time zones.
" Participate as a highly trusted and involved member of the Leadership Team; responsible for booking team off-sites.
" Ensure the SSLM is fully prepared for Quarterly, Mid and End of Year reviews as well as other aspects of the business.
" Work with the Business Manager to create and manage SSLM communications.
" Operated extensively at EA level in a large corporate environment
" Experienced in dealing at Executive level both internally and externally
" Demonstrates knowledge of working across multiple time zones and comfortable working in an international environment liaising with diverse cultures/personalities

" Intermediate level skills in MS Office programmes; advanced in Outlook; strong IT skills and interest.
" Experience of drafting correspondence and responding on behalf of senior management.
" Personal attributes: self-starter and self-motivator, confident in own abilities, proactive, extremely well organised, excellent planning and prioritising ability, assertive, multi-tasker, can work under pressure and meet deadlines, business/commercially aware, influencer, flexible, diplomatic, tactful, team player.
