Job Description
Executive Assistant to the Chief Technology Officer
About the Role:
The role of the Executive Assistant is to provide support to the Chief Technology Officer. With responsibility for co-ordinating the CTO schedule, correspondence and engagements.
Main Duties:
- Responsibility for ensuring the CTO`s diary is updated and maintained daily - optimising the CTO`s time and building in time prior to meetings to read/digest papers:
- Answer and prioritise incoming emails and deal with queries as they arise:
- Advise/ push back when necessary/appropriate any ad hoc appointments that appear in the CTO`s diary that have not been previously agreed;
- Deal with CTO queries as they arise and track progress of related actions:
- Organise travel arrangements for the CTO including international travel:
- Work closely with the senior Leadership team to ensure CTO cover when necessary ensure queries are dealt with at the appropriate level/person.
Relevant Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience of working as an Executive Assistant at CxO/Director or equivalent level;
- Strong organisation skills;
- Strong Stakeholder management skills;
- Ability to adjust and adapt to an often quickly changing environment;
- Proactive self starter;
- Working experience of standard Microsoft software.
