We are looking for an exceptional Executive Business Manager to support our Education and Standards directorate. As the Executive Business Manager, you will manage the budgets, lead the risk management processes within the directorate, report on performance and lead on the preparation of corporate papers. You will also be key in the successful preparation and delivery of the directorate business plan and the wider corporate business planning process. You will manage the directorate executive support team, including line managing the Executive Assistants to the Director and the senior team, and ensuring that services are delivered according to agreed targets to achieve the strategic goals of the Education and Standards directorate.

We are looking for an individual who is motivated and confident to provide dedicated support to the directorate. An exceptional communicator, both verbal and written, you will have a proven track record of financial and business planning, working within formal and informal structures in an organisation. You will have experience of advising and influencing senior management and other stakeholders, drawing on appropriate data and evidence. You will be a self-starter who can work effectively in a busy and complex environment and can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, whilst meeting multiple and competing deadlines.
