Job Description

I am excited to announce I am recruiting an Executive Head Chef for one of my iconic, worldwide and hugely successful clients, the position is based in the centre in Lincoln, in their stylish and relaxing premise. This is a very important role within the business and the successful candidate will have complete responsibility of all food offering in the business.

This position will entail overseeing the kitchen and its development, stock control and gross profit. Making sure the kitchen is always up to standards, ready for internal and external audits, which will include Quality Assurance and Environmental Health Officers.

As this is a senior role, partnership and communication with other departments is key, such as the Meetings & Events Team, the General Manager and Accounts department.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
" Monitor and Collate sales figures by each menu item, review the profitability and popularity of dishes and make changes where applicable in conjunction with the General Manager's requirements.
" Oversee menu drafts, listening to and encouraging ideas from all other staff members.
" Supervise the kitchen and all aspects that come with it, such as kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards, food prep and presentation and stock control and replenishment.
" Liaise with the Financial Controller and General Manager to control all food purchasing.
" Co-ordinate the departmental budget with the Financial Controller and then work to achieve the budget, considering revenue and expenditure.
" Organise and control staff working hours/shifts, ensuring adequate cover for all areas, whilst keeping within the business's payroll budgets.
" Supervise and organise the training of all kitchen staff, motivate and guide all team members, ensure all training is accurately recorded and all staff members receive appraisals and performance reviews on time and by HR guidelines.



Required Skills and Experience:
" Hotel or large venue experience
" 2 years minimum Executive Head Chef experience
" Banqueting experience (preferred)


Job Type: Permanent/Full Time
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum + additional great benefits such as, family and friends discount throughout the brand, on duty meals and drinks, health and wellness days and comprehensive training.
