Brook Street are recruiting for a number of Executive Officers to work for a well established public sector organisation in an exciting new role supporting the industry compliance with UK and EU regulations. If successful, duties include:
-Utilise Case Management System to conduct enquiries on cross checking data issues as a result of UK IUU document applications.
-Build an understanding of other data sources containing information on fish imports, exports and traceability systems.
-Verifying catch certificates for imports and exports
-Making and receiving calls, whilst maintaining a reconcilable log of all calls, emails & letters from industry, public and wider stakeholders.
-Ensuring robust auditable processes have been followed.
-Support PHAs and answer queries relating to import/export certification in a timely manner - escalating to line manager as appropriate.
-Support and advise UK industry in applying for UK IUU documents
-Developing and maintaining wide network of contacts and trusted relationships with delivery partners and businesses
-From time to time other duties as could reasonably be expected related to your role and experience.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
-Previous team experience required in order to fully engage, empower and develop within a team.
-Good computing skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Excel.
-Ability to interpret legislation and associated guidance and apply these interpretations to a range of practical situations and solutions.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
This is a full time, temporary position, initially until the end of March with a few to be extended. The role is 37 hours a week with various different shift patterns between 7.30am and 8.30pm also involving weekend work between 9.00am and 5.00pm.
