The Data Protection and Records Management Support Officer is responsible for the delivery and maintainenance of data protection and records management throughout a well established public sector organisation.
Working in the Data, Technology and Innovation team, you will provide data protection and administrative support to ensure our work is delivered efficiently, effectively and to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will have experience of GDPR, data protection 2018 and records management. A high level of computer literacy including Excel and a knowledge of SharePoint is desirable.
-Develop and implement effective records management policies and procedures
-Build sound working relationships with the records management team and other network bodies.
-Provide technical specialist support on both paper and digital records management.
-Provide expert advice and guidance on records management policies and processes.
-Ensure compliance with the Public Records Act for both paper and digital records
-Work with external stakeholders, consultants and internal stakeholders in the delivery of the Information Management System
-Drafting correspondence to queries from stakeholders
-Providing admin support to a busy data team
-Experience of GDPR and Data Protection 2018 would be advantageous
This is a full time, temporary position, initially until the end of March with a view to be extended. The role is Monday to Friday ideal office hours and they are looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
