Brook Street is currently recruiting for an Executive Officer to start work in Telford as soon as possible on a full time basis.

This will be a temporary position for a minimum of 6 months.

The starting pay rate is £9.13 per hour rising to £15.82 per hour after 12 weeks.

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation, part of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) plays a vital role in supporting our armed forces by building, maintaining and servicing the infrastructure needed to support defence.

They are responsible for all acquisition, disposal and allocation of assets, construction and maintenance of estate infrastructure in the UK and abroad. Our people share the common goal of supporting our armed forces through management of the military estate.

The Temporary Worker will provide middle management support and operate with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgement in completing assignments.

Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

" Preparing high-level correspondence
" Interpreting and reporting complex data
" Resolving problems or responding to complex enquiries
" Managing the workload of a team or section
" Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at senior level building and maintaining relationships
" Good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
" Management experience in an office environment
" Excellent communication skills both oral and written
" Organisation of meetings, attendance and taking records of decisions and tracking actions
" Support Regional Managers in management of risks and issues impacting delivery.
