Job Description

Brook Street (UK) Ltd are delighted to be recruiting Executive Officer's for our leading Public Sector client Education Authority Northern Ireland located in Armagh, Northern Ireland.


This role is a hybrid role which means suitable candidates will work between home and the office located in Armagh. This role will start immediately and is expected to last several months. Most roles across Northern Ireland, we have placed candidates into with The Education Authority Northern Ireland have been extended beyond the original timeframe, some of our candidates have secured promotions within the organisation, and others have been successful in securing fixed-term contracts directly with our client.

As Executive Officer, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support for the daily functional and operational staff.

You will be proficient in MS Packages such as Excel, Outlook, and Word. You will be confident in the daily use of spreadsheets and databases and will conduct reporting, typing and word-processing duties.


SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS MUST:

The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

- Collating and analysing complex information or data, submitting results in a written report

- Operating a PC and computer systems to facilitate the delivery of a procurement service.

- Overseeing administrative procedures and processes

- Acting as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external stakeholders.

- Preparing routine correspondence

Typical qualifications and experience:

- Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)

- Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office

- Good communication skills, both oral and written

The rate of pay is £10.70 per hour, the hours of work are flexible - adding up to 36 hours per week.
