The Executive Officer will work directly and provide executive support to three busy Deputy Directors. The role will involve diary management, prioritisation of all communications, the collation and circulation of relevant materials and other relevant administrative tasks to enable the Deputy Directors to provide the required level of strategic direction, oversight, and management of key business areas within the Department.
The pay rate will be £11.01 an hour, and this will be a temporary assignment for approximately 3 months, until the end of March; Monday - Friday; 09:00-17:00; 37 hours per week; remotely (or from the office, as the candidates wishes).
The role will also involve secretariat duties and allow for access to the highest levels of management committees within the organisation and therefore offer the role holder a developmental insight into the daily workings of a fast-paced policy and delivery Department.
The Executive Officer will also be responsible for providing general administrative support to help enable the effective and efficient delivery of daily business as usual activities across multiple areas, thereby offering further chances for ongoing training and further development.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
-Executive diary management and prioritisation
-Management information collation and distribution
-Secretariat duties including note taking and distribution and scheduling meetings
-Collation and organisation of shared data storage drives
-Providing bespoke administrative support as necessary to key business functions including accounting, risk, assurance, grant administration, data protection and counter fraud
-Good verbal and written communication skills
-Knowledge and experience of Google office suite of tools
-Ability to work at pace and prioritise when faced with conflicting deadlines.
