Location - Lancaster House, Hampshire Court, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7YH

Monday to Friday - Hybrid Working from Home/Office

Assignment Length - 6 Months

Rate of Pay - £12.95ph

My client at Marine Management Organisation is looking for an Executive Officer to join their team as soon as possible.

The role will be to support the MMO by assisting to implement and install inshore Vessel Monitoring Systems within the English commercial fishing fleet. A key part of the role will be to support engagement with the fishing industry and manage external/internal queries as appropriate. Engage with MMO's training, legal, coastal/operational teams and senior managers to ensure delivery of appropriate and effective internal and external and guidance and reporting and monitoring tools. Provide information to support delivery of activities.

Typical Skills and Experience:

The Temporary Worker will provide junior management support and carry out administrative duties that are moderately complex. He or she will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Using initiative and working on own.
• Ability to interpret rules/regulations and apply them to a range of practical situations.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and control workload and deliver results to agreed timescales.
• Must be computer literate.
• A good team worker.
