We are recruiting for an Executive officer role located at Whatton and Stoken Prison working as a temporary position until the 25/06/19 but could be extended.
The role will require you to support Directorate of Digital & Technology by working as the customer facing element of a national team providing operational on-site support geared to enhancing the experience of all users.
The role encompasses supporting all ICT within the client network, including the infrastructure and services provided by MoJ Technology in addition to providing support to all the Service staff and those working for 3rd party organisations operating within client.
This role requires operational knowledge and experience of how a diverse range of sites manage, report on and intervene with individuals. ICT is used to enable and assist the business to manage offenders across the public and private sectors. The role holder must have the ability to interpret and apply this knowledge in the HMPPS context so as to support the business in their use of ICT systems that underpin and enable offender management.
Remotely located at Whatton and Stocken sites, the role holder will be confident in lone working and managing you work load and able to prioritise. Reporting to an Operations Manager and working collaboratively within the team the role necessitates flexibility in working patterns and travel to be able to provide on-site support to other establishments both within the region and nationally, travel expenses will be paid.
The ideal person will have strong administration experience, you will be confident dealing with and arranging engineers, confident IT skills including moving computers around and setting systems up.
The role will require successfully passing vetting and referencing which can take around 4 weeks.
