An exciting new role has opened within a government department. The successful candidate will provide business support/project management and carry out moderately complex admin duties. Responsibilities will be but are not limited to:
oManaging a capital projects mailbox from suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding a variety of issues related to capital projects / construction projects.
oTaking ownership of the issues received via the capital projects mailbox and seeing these through to satisfactory conclusion (although not necessarily resolving these personally but finding the right people who can).
oBuilding effective working relationships with supplier accounts contacts and internal finance and operational colleagues.
oAbility to find a way through the complex nature of our business and identify the right contacts to resolve issues.
oTenacity and resilience.
oEnsuring the capital project contracts are maintained and added on the Jaggaer (Bravo) e-procurement system.
oApproving requisitions on the SOP system.
oManaging new supplier requests from the business, validating information received and processing approvals paperwork
oAnalyse a variety of excel data with the aim of creating standardised templates to be used by the CCMD team
This is a work from home role and IT will be delivered to the successful candidates.
The successful candidates will have used MS Office in particular Excel as there is significant work involving analysing and creating site and meter address lists, ideally would suit someone with a background in construction or health and safety as you will be dealing with contractors for construction.
