Brook Street are delighted to be recruiting for a temporary Executive Officer for the DVSA.

This is a temporary project role within the Future Theory Test Service (FTTS) project. The role holder will work within the contract management team to ensure the Test Engine and Test Content Management contract and the Test Centre Network contracts are managed effectively.


Role description

? Supporting Procurement and Contract Managers in arrangements that are or may become the subject of a third party contract with DVSA such as fleet, uniform or equipment needs or services required or provided by DVSA.

? Supporting allocated contracts; resolving related issues and applying relevant measures and controls.

? Ensuring contract risks and improvement opportunities are reported.

? Providing support, advice and challenges where appropriate for allocated contracts.

? Providing secretariat support for the FTTS team.

? Ensuring all relevant contractual records and related correspondence is maintained.

? Supporting the effectiveness of the workstream by performing other tasks and initiatives as required.

? Execute management responsibilities effectively and in line with DVSA policies and processes, planning and coordinating tasks and activities and taking responsibility for ensuring objectives are delivered.

The role is temporary, full time, Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, 37hrs per week.
The pay starts at £10.02/hr inceasing to £13.33/hr after completing 12 worked weeks.
