We have a fantastic temporary opportunity as an Executive officer position within a public sector organisation within the city centre with excellent public transport links. The role is initially for 6 months but is likely to be extended and could offer further opportunities after that.
The organisation is in the heart of Nottingham and has over 400 sites in the UK, you would be working in an open plan modern office amongst a supportive team.
This role is very busy and will involve working under pressure, so we need you to be very level headed, can work to strict deadlines, have excellent communication both spoken and written, be organised and have a very good attention for detail. It would suit a someone from a strong admin, project management or an interest to get into health and safety as you do not need qualifications as training will be provided however you will be required to roll your sleeves up and run with the opportunity.
The role will be working within a facilities team and is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-recognised organisation.
Duties will include but not limited to;
*Managing Health and Safety reports
*Liaising with contractors internal departments and chasing where needed
*Arranging Fire risk assessments/ Water safety testing etc and dealing with the reports and working with the remedials ensuring improvements are dealt with on time.
*Adhoc admin duties/email correspondence and supporting the other teams when required.
The role is dependent on satisfactory referencing and completion of a DBS. The role is paying £12.93 and includes other benefits like paid holidays and Bank holidays and pension.
