Brook Street Edinburgh is recruiting for a highly capable Executive Officer who will join a friendly team initially on a temporary basis, on behalf of the Ministry of Defence based at Faslane in Helensburgh.
The Temporary Worker will be providing administrative support to the MOD Health and Safety Team and partner personal, whilst managing the workload of a small team.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Coordinating Health and Safety (SHEF) accident/incident event reporting on Navy Lessons & Incident Management System (NLIMS).
Monitoring status of SHEF-related corrective actions & documentation on the BMS system.
Maintaining records on status of Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and associated actions.
Collating SHEF performance data & monthly management information reports.
Supporting Clyde SHEF Committee meetings preparations and production/dissemination of minutes.
Typical qualifications and experience:
Five GCSE passes at Grade C or above, Two level passes at grade E or above or equivalent NVQ Management Level 3 or 4 (or suitable junior management experience)
Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
A strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures is desirable.
