Job Title: Executive - Research & Insight

Main Purpose of the Role
To collect and analyse data from both the market and consumers, to enable the business to develop best in class products and services.
Monday to Friday: 09:00 to 17:00 (35 hours per week). However, due to the nature of this role hours may vary in line with business needs.
Market & Competitor Analysis
" Conduct market and competitor analysis research into Allianz Partners' existing Lines of Business, including:
o Travel Insurance, Motor Warranty, Roadside Assistance, Home Emergency & Appliance Protection and some speciality sectors eg CDW etc. and other new markets that the business may consider entering, as required.
o Distribution channel analyses as requested from time to time eg a specified competitor, broker channel, banking etc.
Consumer Market Research
" Establish research briefs for any external consumer market research. Select and manage the market research agency relationship.
" Lead and advise on primary research projects.
Marketing Community Liaison
" Build relationships so that we are liaising at an appropriate level within the Allianz Partners community regarding new products and services and Market Management/ Marketing.
" Be the main point of contact for any research/ insight initiatives that the UK business unit could benefit from. Including, but not limited to, the Customer Lab.
You will also be responsible for the following;

" To work towards achieving 100% on all Company, departmental and team performance targets, as directed by the Marketing team.
" To manage or assist with relevant ad-hoc projects as required by your line manager and other additional duties as requested.
" Complete all appropriate administration, including monthly reports.

" To work within and be compliant at all times with all relevant regulations and legislation applicable to the role.

Education / Training / Qualifications
" Educated to A level standard or equivalent
" Minimum of grade C GCSE Maths or equivalent
" Excellent fluency in written and spoken English
" Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft products in an office environment
" Experience in marketing
" Experience working within financial services sector including insurance
" Ideally a member of Market Research Society
Specialist skills & knowledge
" Confidence in managing relationships with senior stakeholders
" Ability to adapt and learn
" Demonstrable experience in working with external agencies and managing the relationships held
" Demonstrable experience in managing both qual and quant projects
" Demonstable experience in research and data collection and analysis and reporting the findings back to the business
" Take ownership and responsibility of work delivery
" Strong communication skills
" Successfully working independently
