Job Description

A well established large organization is recruiting for part time support worker for their supportive living service in Peasedown St John, Bath. You will mainly be supporting with a very fun and active Gentleman who has Autism and mild challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support him with activities (he is a very active guy)
- Staff needs to be very confident to work here, but he doesn't respond well to people who are loud or in his face
- Needs a lot of help, guidance and support with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Prompting with personal care

Contract / Terms:
- Salary is £11,271 per annum = £8.67 an hour
- Maybe required to do 1 sleepin a week which is extra pay roughly £50 per sleep
- Part time contract on 25 hours a week
- Mondays to Fridays + alternative weekends
- Shifts can vary but mainly are between 8am - 10pm

Qualifying candidates:
- All candidates must have experience working with autism

Benefits (pro rota):
- Full training and will also get put through the NVQ qualification
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday = 32 in total
- 6 months sick pay (3 months full pay and 3 months half pay)
- Cycle to work scheme
