Service Manager - Extra Care Scheme

Location: Lichfield area
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent

A welcoming Extra Care service in Staffordshire is looking for a Service Manager to guide a dedicated team and help shape a supportive environment where residents can live independently with dignity and choice.

What the Service Offers

This is a modern setting designed for people aged 55 and over who want to live independently but may need a little extra support. Residents live in their own homes and receive care tailored to their individual needs - whether it's a helping hand each day or more regular assistance. The service is close to local amenities and offers a warm, community feel.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day running of care services with a focus on quality and compassion
  • Working closely with families, professionals, and residents to create personalised care plans
  • Supporting and developing staff, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time
  • Making sure everything meets regulatory standards and reflects best practice
  • Taking part in the on-call rota and stepping in when emergency cover is needed

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in a supervisory or management role within care services
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards Level 5)
  • Confident IT skills and a proactive approach to using digital systems
  • A genuine commitment to person-centred care and empowering others

Bonus If You Have

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
