You will be responsible for providing facilities support to this international company so must be happy to deal with an ever changing workload and some challenging situations.
You will be leading, delivering and developing support services in accordance with the needs of the business, ensuring that you provide safe, comfortable office space to all.
A knowledge of facilities and health and safety legislation would be a distinct advantage as you will be responsible for keeping the H&S policies up to date and working with contractors to ensure that building inspections and audits are regularly conducted.
You will be providing comprehensive project support/administration to all departments and the job may involve working in other areas, including London, on occasions.
You will need excellent communication and strong written skills and the organisational ability to be able to meet conflicting deadlines.
There can be times when the pressure is on so we really do need someone who can keep their head in challenging situations and use their persuasive skills to influence and manage situations.
You will be based in the busy York office but will also be working in Knaresborough at least once a week - own transport would be ideal, otherwise a 6 minute bus ride from Knaresborough centre.
