This is an exciting new opportunity to join the facilities team running a newly acquired building in the Fenchurch Street area of the City.
You and your team members will be the initial point of contact for the client occupying these premises across numerous floors. This is effectively a staff facing role supporting the smooth running of the building and creating `floor communities` throughout.
With any new move there will be issues to resolve-you will be responsible for identifying these and suggesting solutions.eg effective use of underutilised space or health and safety issues. Your scope will be wide ranging including liaising with the audio visual team to make sure equipment is functioning correctly and organising a `fix` if necessary, supporting a clear desk policy, check stationery cupboards are stocked, coffee machines are working , even organising the purchase of milk. You will get to know the client occupants and build relationships with all parties and key contacts so you will need strong communication skills and the ability to deal with people under pressure who want things done NOW.
The role will develop with time so requires someone flexible and adaptable with a patience and understanding nature. Candidates should have some office experience either in facilities or reception who are versatile and can turn there hand to whatever is required.
It is likely that this role will be on a shift pattern shared between the team of 5 between the hours of 7am-7pm -this is to be confirmed.
