Brook Street is very happy to be working with a national law firm who over recent years have grown to over 600 people and are continuing to grow. Our client has an exciting opportunity in Hedge End, for a Facilities Assistant to join a team of approximately 8 in their Facilities Management department to support administrative duties. You will be a self-starter, motivated and willing to work on your own initiative and ideally you will have previous administrative experience.
On a day to day basis you will be the face of the Facilities Management department carrying out reprographic and general administration post room duties within a busy team.
You will be responsible for dealing with incoming telephone calls and emails from internal and external sources, sorting incoming and outgoing post and ensuring all requests are dealt with efficiently.
As part of the Facilities team you will need brilliant attention to detail and have health and safety at the forefront of your mind.
The full time position will be asked to work on a rota basis 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm (7.5 hours per day). In return you will be offered an excellent starting salary of £16.5k depending on experience, life assurance, subsidised gym memberships, as well as 26 days holiday + bank holidays.
You should be proactive and flexible in working both individually and as part of a team, with minimal supervision, and be able to prioritise a number of different projects effectively.
Communication will be one of your strong points, both written and verbal, and you will be enthusiastic about delivering excellent quality service to our fee earners.
We expect you to be able to use your initiative, and be a forward-planner, anticipating your colleagues' needs in advance wherever possible.
