Job Description
I have an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join a fantastic company based in St Albans.
The main purpose of the role would be to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Facilities function, this is a full-time role. Hours to be covered are 8.30am to 6pm and until 8pm on Wednesdays.
Main responsibilities:
- Daily receiving-in, sorting and dispatch of post
- All incoming deliveries
- Daily banking procedures
- Assist with office moves to include physical set up of new starter desks and ensure that floor plans are updated
- Setting up of client and staff meetings, room layouts in accordance with staff requests and liaison with IT as necessary
- Clearing meeting rooms of all crockery, glasses, water bottles etc immediately after the meeting is finished, tidying chairs, pads, pens etc.
- Transportation of goods between offices and where necessary to other locations i.e., remote workers.
Skills required:
- Computer literacy in relevant software packages (Word, Excel & Outlook)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Capable of manual handling
- Ability to cope with pressure and always maintain a calm manner
- A full clean driving licence is essential
Salary range is £17,500 - £22,000 dependent on experience.
