Facilities Coordinator

Job Description

Brook Street have the pleasure of working with our client based in Peterborough who are on the hunt for a Facilities team member to be responsible for the day to day running of on-going and future projects. If you have experience with managing projects, or just starting out on your facilities career, this role is for you!

Our client is an innovative, property provider with 50+ centres located throughout the UK. You will play a vital part in driving forward key projects through the business, managing timescales, client's expectations and being cost effective. Being Sustainable is one of the company's main priorities and having this forward-thinking approach is desirable.

Job title: Facilities Projects Coordinator - Permanent Role
Location: Peterborough
Hours: Full-time 37 hours, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 17:00am

Start date: Immediate

Must have a Full UK Driving Licence

up to £28,000 per year depending on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Manage timescales for projects and costs
  • Ensure trackers are updated and clear to communicate to higher managers
  • Communicate with site teams and provide updates
  • Once works are all completed, ensure documents and certificates are provided
  • Identify works to be completed on site, arrange who to complete, utilising the internal maintenance team and contractors
  • Sourcing new contractors
  • Ensure pre-qualifying questionnaire is completed and provide FM Director and H&S manager for reviews
  • Be responsible for all Health and Safety documentation is provided and be responsible for all H&S actions for areas of responsibly
  • Be self-motivated and flexible
  • Have a good understanding of the FM industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods, and legal requirements
  • Willingness and aptitude to be trained in any skills gap & positive approach to learning in role
  • Ability to establish working relationships with contractors and maintaining these to a high level.
  • Always looking for cost effect ways of working and sustainability working.
