Factory Manager

Job Description

Are you an experienced Factory General manager. Seeking to find a leader to energise and inspire the Operational team in order to ensure consistent commitment in the delivery of high-quality food products.

Key tasks:
To instil a strong HS&E culture at all times and drive compliance to current standards
Ensure site teams comply with local statutory, group, legal, customer and best practice guidelines in all operational areas with focus on Technical and HSE
Take full accountability for all Operational activities across the site, supporting and coaching teams.
Prepare budgets, plans and other organisational reports as needed
Manage and control site expenditure within agreed budgets
Develop and improve product quality and consistency, increase efficiency and reduce costs across the site, review regularly.
Work collaboratively with other sites and functions, driving standardisation and best practice sharing.
Instil a strong HS&E culture across the site, ensuring the teams own the HSE agenda to meet legislative requirements and strive for best practice
Promote and drive a strong food safety and quality culture, ensuring compliance to all relevant standards.
High level of expertise in Operational Excellence, coaching team on use of principles and tools.
Ensure all site-based employees have the skills and knowledge to fulfil their roles.
