Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference to the lives of children and their families?

We are seeking Family Support Workers to join a residential family assessment centre in Somerset. You will be working with high risk Mother's & Father's who need extra support and supervision in caring for their child. Your primary role will be ensure the safety of the children in placement at all times, to work 1:1 with parents for the entirety of the placement, feeding back to the parents as you go and providing accurate, factual reports to Social Workers.

We are looking for caring, empathetic people with good conflict management skills, effective report writing skills and the ability to guide and help families to make progress.

Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, or equivalent and have experience of working with Children.

We are particularly interested in hearing from individuals from the following backgrounds (however this list is not exhaustive):

-Social Workers
-Education
-Childcare

Pay/Contract;
-£9.50 p/h - £13.00 p/h, dependent upon experience & qualifications
-This is a Waking Nights position
-Shift patterns run on a 2 week rolling rota, with shift times of 8.30PM-9.30AM
-This is for a Full Time position
