Job Description

A well established large national charitable organization is recruiting for support workers in Melksham, Wiltshire. You will mainly be supporting 2 female Adult who have learning disabilities and physical disabilities who may display challenging behaviour.

Main Job Role:
- Support them with everyday duties i.e. cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
- Accompany them to the bank, any appointments, health visits and out in the community
- Some aspects of personal care will be required but no hoist / manual handling
- One of the service users has her own car but you may be required to drive this for her

Contract / Terms:
- Salary including sleeps is £22,243 per annum = £8.05 an hour and £8.26 after probation (£16,107)
- Must do atleast 1 - 2 sleep in per week which is paid at £29.95 + top-up = roughly £59 per sleep which comes to £3,068 - £6,136 extra per year
- Full time (37.5 hours a week), Monday to Fridays with alternative weekends
- Flexible rota (some shifts can be 24 hour shifts)

Qualifying candidates:
- Have life, paid, personal or voluntary experience in care (any setting / sector)
- Must be female due to service users needs
- Must be a car driver with your own car
