Job Description

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for an experienced homecare Field Care Supervisor within the Darlington area to work with a care organisation that cares for around 65 service users with 60 carers. You will be in a team of another field care supervisor, a care coordinator and a branch manager.

About the employer, this employer is a home care organisation working with service users within their own home. Their service users are elderly and suffer with Dementia related issues.

About the job; this role is to work alongside 2 other Field Care Supervisors, Care Coordinators and Managers to ensure all service users are receiving the best possible care and that all care plans are being followed. You will be responsible for the Carers, you will carry out audits, you will be part of a spot check duty and will overall make sure the company is working well within the sector of care. You will also be responsible for making the work you do fun and bring as much joy to your service users as possible as sometimes you are the only face they will see for that day or even week.

About the ideal candidate; it is essential that you have at least 1 years of experience within the health and social care sector within the last 1 years of your employment history. If you have homecare experienced, this will be an advantage. Ideally you will hold a Level 4 in Health and Social Care, however, if you do not, we are able to put you through this. It is essential that you are a driver and we cannot interview anyone without a driving licence and access to own car.

You will also be hardworking, motivating and have the want to do a good job for not just your service users and your co-workers, but for yourself also.

This is a permanent and full-time role paying £20,000. You will work ideally every other weekend to be able to contribute to spot checks. If you can only work Mon - Fri, please call us to discuss. We will be accommodating where we can. Benefits of the role include a large host of training, qualifications and more.
