Role Type: Full Time working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

Brook Street are recruiting for 3 experienced Field Engineers to work within the NHS.
You will be providing IT support within the NHS. One will be visiting sites around the county - GP practices, hospitals etc assisting with laptops, PCs and MFD devices, whilst 2 others will be answering remote calls.
If there are no Field Engineer requirements, you will be expected to handle remote calls for all of the regions, not just Derbyshire.
Typical tasks but not limited to:
- good customer service
- supporting deskside
- field engineering
- supporting users over the phone

- Good communication skills, both oral and written

- Working in an organised manner, using own knowledge and expertise to deliver on time and to standard.

Typical qualifications and/or experience:
- degree in relevant IT subject or equivalent experience
- possess and industry recognised customer service qualification
- foundation certificate in ITIL Service Management
- technical qualification such as MCSE, MCP or A+ Certification

Full driving licence, as you will be required to visit various sites. Potentially may have use of a small van but ideally you will own your own vehicle.


The roles are for 12 months, Monday to Friday, either 8.00am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm or 9.30am to 5.30pm, 37.5hrs per week at £11.76/hr increasing to £12.74/hr after 12 weeks.
Expenses will be paid for mileage when moving from site to site.
The role is initially office based out of Cardinal Square but will require travelling all around the County to assist users.

Selection will initially be by Teams but will move to face-to-face meetings.
