Field Service Engineer
Based Near Liverpool Street Station.
On-going long term assignment.
Paying £13.05 going up to £14.13 after 12 weeks.
The Field Service Engineer is a mobile engineer responsible for the direct support of users contacting the Service Desk for assistance in situations where the issue cannot be resolved remotely.
Duties will include Service Requests such as installations/ updates of software and hardware items, liaising as appropriate with Infrastructure Services as appropriate.
To support/assist the management and leadership team to deliver the aims and objectives of the service.
To work within service levels and KPIs and ensure that reporting procedures are adhered to.
To provide a comprehensive engineer service meeting agreed deadlines and service level agreements.
To positively contribute to stakeholder and client relationships to deliver the aims of the service.
Provide direct support of users contacting the Service Desk in situations where the issue cannot be resolved remotely.
Where resolution is not possible, ensure Incidents and Service Requests are properly escalated and assigned to the correct support groups.
Triage server issues or network problems on supported sites, liaising with other sections as required.
