Role - Finance Accountant
Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Type - Permanent, Full Time (flexible around 9-5)
Location - Milton Park, Oxfordshire

Are you a Part Qualified Accountant looking to manage a small team?
Then look no further, our client requires a highly experienced Part Qualified Accountant to join their smart Head Office in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. You must have deep knowledge on all financial proceedings within the business and demonstrate leadership skills whilst managing a small team of up to 5 people. This is a great opportunity for someone to take on the companies' finance and will be reporting into the Company's Director daily so must work to high standards.

What will you be doing as a Finance Accountant?

Production of monthly balance sheets and cash flow reporting for management accounts
Preparation of investor reporting packs for review by the Financial Controller
Support the Finance team on Group report issues
Stock control and reporting
Update and review weekly cashflow position
Control and monitoring of Capital Expenditure
Production of quarterly VAT and statistical returns
Support the Financial Controller in preparing the annual subsidiary and consolidated accounts
Complete and/or review all balance sheet reconciliations and recommend any action required
Support the Financial Controller on ad hoc projects

Ability to manage a small team and review progress
Able to manage multiple work streams and deliver to deadlines
Knowledge and experience of various accounting systems is an advantage
Good communicator with the ability to explain accounting requirements to non-finance teams
Confidence to challenge the existing way of doing things and create improvement strategies
At least 3 years financial accounting experience preferably with an audit firm background
Part qualified accountant working towards final exams
Excellent verbal and written skills to be portrayed with confidence
