Salary- £21-28K dependant on experience.

Job Description:

This role is one of several Finance Assistants sharing the fundamental central processing tasks for our branches nationwide. You will be based within our lively Finance office, liaising as required with surrounding business hubs and internal departments. You are required to supervise, advise, monitor and control by the Accounting Supervisor. Daily tasks are required to be completed accurately, as swiftly as possible to ensure complete and accurate financial data in support of the operation and management team. Errors could easily result in significant financial loss which cannot be recovered.

Processes and procedures are standardised within the General Ledger team, and it is essential that these are followed and adhered to consistently and accurately by all members of the Finance Assistant team and it is paramount these are applied equally.

Qualifications:
As a minimum possessing a good spread of A-level and GCSE qualifications appropriate to a position in finance and with experience in an accounting function posting financial transactions to double entry level, not just purchase or sales ledger experience. Studying, or qualified for AAT or ACCA/CIMA would be ideal.
