Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a finance administrator on a permanent basis for a local, Cardiff based employer with an incredible history spanning over 200 years. This employer offers a fantastic working environment and lots of development potential for the right candidate

We are looking for somebody with the following skills & experience:

  • Finance administration or accounts administration
  • Excellent customer service skills

Duties will include:

  • Ensure accurate credit control and debt recovery records are kept
  • Speak to customers to chase payments, update ledgers and ensure credit limits are adhered to
  • Escalate and manage disputes with invoices with key colleagues
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger duties
  • Process payments via telephone from customers
  • General accounts & finance administration

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experience:

  • Great IT skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Previous experience is not required for this role, however previous experience of SAGE and working in a busy office would be advantageous

This is a permanent, full-time vacancy with working hours from 08:30am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30-16:30 on Friday with great benefits.
