We are looking for a Finance & Support Manager with HR experience and a desire to apply their skill set in environment designed to benefit our future generations.

Our client is an outstanding school in the London Borough of Hackney offering education for 4-16 year-old's with highly specialised provisions for learners with autism.

Reporting and subject to the direction of the Executive Head teacher this role manages and discharges functions related to the non-teaching elements of the school. The purpose and objective is to provide transaction, operational, informational services which are aimed at supporting the Teaching & Learning element of the school to deliver outstanding education.

Essential Qualification
National level 4 minimum in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience

Multi-million £ budget financial management - Essential
General business support services provision - Essential
Public sector finance - especially Education special sector - Desirable
School business management experience - Desirable
Staff & team management - Essential
Fast paced multi demanding environment - Essential

Essential Skills
High level numeracy and literacy (national level 4 )
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to manage several `business` lines
