Our client based in Belfast, has a vacancy for a Finance Assistant to join their team
This is a full time temporary role to support the finance team to the end of April with possible extension
The purpose of the job role is to support the Finance Manager in providing a confidential and customer focused finance service to the organisation.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the below duties
Processing purchase requisitions.
Raising purchase orders on Sage and issuing these to suppliers.
Registering Purchase Ledger invoices and matching them to Goods Received notes, ensuring accurate pricing. Liaising with other departments and suppliers regarding invoice discrepancies.
Processing stock movements and generating store re-order reports. Assisting in periodic stock takes.
Reconciliation of statements.
Prepare ledger reconciliations.
Daily banking procedures. Processing daily bank lodgements in a timely manner and ensuring all relevant paperwork is passed on to the relevant person.
Maintaining excel spreadsheets accurately for reporting purposes.
Responsibility for general administration duties pertaining to the role including filing paperwork.
Our client has advised us that the applicant must have 1 years' relevant experience within an office environment and experience of working with accounting packages.
