Job Description

My public sector client based in Lichfield is looking for a Finance Assistant, to support their department. This is a temporary on-going assignment Monday to Friday paying £10.88p/hr, full time 37.50 hours a week

The successful worker will provide administrative support to the Finance department. You will be required to work at a fast pace, assisting with a backlog of invoices and electronic procurement statements. You will need to collate and analyse fairly complex information or data, submitting your results in a written report. You will be overseeing administrative procedures and processes and will be assisting with budget preparation and control. You may also be required to act as an administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources.

You may also be required to complete some general duties including photocopying, scanning and filing. You may also be required to monitor the office email inbox, sifting through incoming mail, linking and delivering it to the appropriate teams. You may also be required to answer calls and have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
