Job Description

We have a brand-new vacancy working with an established company based in Blackburn They are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team full time, Monday to Friday. The Finance assistant will assist with all the administrative and finance activities that facilitate the smooth running of our client's finance department by providing support for the team, working closely with the company's franchises & Funder's.

LOCATION: Blackburn BB1

SALARY: £22,00pa (reviewed annually every January)

HOURS: 9am-17:00pm Monday to Friday

Some of the duties will include
" Assist with the preparation of information and reports for the company's financial controller
" Inputting company income and expenditures into accounting software
" Raising invoices and liaising with Franchisees
" Assist the Finance Team with the payroll process for the company's franchise network
" Dealing with telephone queries in a timely and friendly manner
" Undertaking and completing FCA & Compliance training modules and tests
" Represent the department as a main point of contact for the funders and appointed
representatives, dealing with any queries efficiently and in a timely manner


A suitable candidate will need:

" Accuracy and attention to detail
" Effective communication skills
" Strong IT Skills (Data Base, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word)
" Familiar with Sage 50
" A strong team player
" Fantastic customer care skills
