Finance Controller - £24,000 - £28,000 DOE

My client is looking for a full time Finance Controller to join their team as soon as possible!

Brook Street is pleased to be able to offer the position of a Finance Controller with one the UK's leading specialist in industrial and process cooling solutions. They are a nationwide business who provide a sales and hire service, across multi-sector applications. They pride themselves on being experts in their field and having extensive knowledge to be able to fit any client requirements.

Who's right for the job?

The job will be fast paced from the get go, where you will need to be organised, honest and discrete when handling confidential financial information. You will need to have an exceptional knowledge base of Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll and Excel. Someone with Bookkeeping and company accounts experience is desired but not essential, however someone who has strong prioritisation skills and time planning skills is required to suit the role.

The responsibilities of the role:

• Bank reconciliations
• Management Accounts
• Pre-payments
• Journal entry
• Posting and checking of invoices (both incoming/outgoing)
• VAT returns
• CIS payments
• Expense and mileage claims
• Petty cash
• Payroll
• Credit Control
• Managing payment runs using On-line Banking
• Responding to all accounts queries.
• SAGE payroll

In return for your hard work, our client offers a competitive salary of £24,000 to £28,000, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday - Friday, starting at 9am and finishing at 5:30pm.
