Job Description

Finance Manager - 2 Days per week
Inverness - circa £15000 - £18000

Great role for a fully qualified accountant seeking to return to work on a part-time basis or for a full-time employee seeking to find part-time hours.

Based on the outskirts of Inverness this exciting role will report to the Managing Director.

Key duties and responsibilities include:
To be responsible for day-to-day financial aspects of the business including managing the Company`s accounts
Identify and implement efficiencies in the financial cycle
Monitor bank accounts and record all incoming and outgoing transactions
Liaise with supplier accounts departments, process supplier invoices, issue remittance notes and monitor statements
Create and issue customer invoices
Process team and credit card expenses
Reconcile monthly banks statements with Financial and CRM system (Oracle Netsuite)
Create regular financial reports for Board of Directors and wider team members
Submit quarterly VAT returns and ensure compliance with relevant accounting and tax legislation
Liaise with accountants to prepare and finalise annual accounts
Monitor credit control, run customer credit checks, issues customer statements and review and action overdue accounts
Run monthly payroll and all related activities
Monitor staff annual leave and absences through RBS Mentor
Support the management team in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
Monitor and collate and report on performance statistics

Administrative duties including processing mail, ordering stationery, consumables and staff branded PPE
Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors and Sales Team
Liaise with suppliers to ensure all insurances are relevant and up to date
Support the Customer Services Team as and when required
