We`re a well established family run firm within the electrical engineering field. We now have an exciting opportunity for a full time Finance Manager to join us, ensuring smooth running of the Accounts function of the business.
About the role:
Checking all invoices with goods in, coding invoices and allocating folio numbers for entry on sage.
Producing control and creditors listings
Entering authorised payments onto online bank.
Maintaining invoice filing
End of Month / year end procedures
Analysis of sales figures
Customer credit control
Credit notes, credit card payment received
Maintain files for downloaded sales invoices, commission invoices
Entering all allocating payments received
Downloading sales invoices on to sales ledger
-reconciling month end figures, monthly reports, VAT returns, journals, monthly cash flow.
You will also be involved with payroll, including calculate salaries and pensions, produce report, produce payslips. End of fiscal year procedures and produce forms for inland revenue.
-Monthly balance sheet, profit and loss.
-Different currencies; You will operate our US office for accounts including balance sheet and profit and loss account.
The ideal candidate;
-Will be full AAT qualified and studying towards ACCA or ACA
-5 years background in accounts
-Confident with Sage 200
