Job Description

We are currently working exclusively with a Consultancy service based in Weybridge, seeking a part time Finance Officer to join them working 20-25 hours a week for 6-12 months to cover maternity. This Consultancy service specialise in tax advisory and compliance services and are experts in their field.

As a Finance Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Operations Director and supporting with all aspects of the finance function including processing invoices for clients and invoicing for client work. Month end will be a particularly busy time as you will be chasing client managers for bills sent to clients to ensure payment is received on time.

You will also be responsible for company expenditure, setting up and processing payments through the online banking system and tracking all finances on spreadsheets for reporting purposes.

To be considered for this outstanding part time Finance Officer position, you will have:
-2-3 years expertise within the Finance function
-Experience of accounting software (ideally Xero, and CCH would be a huge advantage)
-Intermediate level Excel skills
-Naturally confident and able to cope with a busy workload - pushing back to manage your time effectively

A salary of £25,000-£28,000 is available and benefits include a cashback healthcare scheme, pension scheme and free on-site parking. Hours of work are 20-25 hours p/w to be worked flexibly between 10am-4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Initially due to current restrictions you will be working remotely, however once it is safe to return you will be required in the office however there will be flexibility for the right person.
