FINANCE OFFICER

Job Description

Brook Street (UK) Ltd is seeking a Finance Officer role for our client, Education Authority Northern Ireland.

Based in the Belfast office, the Finance Officer will extract financial information from the financial system, provide detailed information on individual transactions, prepare spreadsheets using Microsoft Office packages to enhance the quality of information provided, develop IT solutions for Corporate Reporting requirements, provide guidance, advice, and support to Finance Business Partners and centre budget holders in all aspects of budget management, provide timely and accurate financial information, and investigate and respond to queries raised by finance business partners.

The rate of pay for this role is £10.70 per hour and the hours of work are 0900-1700 from Monday to Friday.

Candidates must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3, BTEC National, 2 A Levels or equivalent or higher examinations qualifications
AND
have a minimum of two years` relevant financial experience, and have experience in the use of Microsoft IT packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
