Brook Street (UK) Ltd is inviting applications for a Finance Officer role within Education Authority Northern Ireland`s Belfast office.

The Finance Officer is responsible for various administrative and accounting duties within the Corporate Reporting team, including providing financial information, advice, and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties will include extraction of financial information from the financial system, providing detailed information on individual transactions, preparing spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Office packages to enhance the quality of information provided, developing IT solutions for Corporate Reporting requirements, providing guidance, advice, and support to Finance Business Partners and centre budget holders in all aspects of budget management, providing timely and accurate financial information, and investigating and responding to queries raised by finance business partners.

Candidates must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3, BTEC National, 2 A Levels or equivalent or higher examinations qualifications

AND

have a minimum of two years` relevant financial experience, and have experience in the use of Microsoft IT packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The rate of pay for this Belfast-based role is £10.70 per hour, the hours of work are 0900-1700 from Monday to Friday, and our client would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
