LONG TERM 3 MONTHS TEMPORARY ROLE IN NEWPORT (FULL TIME ONLY - Initially Work From Home)

Do you have a Finance Officer background and are you looking for Long Term Temp work for a large Public Sector Employer in Newport?


Responsibilities:

Own and produce various monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Work with Business Partners to ensure accruals/prepayments/postings are correct

Produce VAT reports in line with the reporting schedule (monthly preparation leading to quarterly submission)

Administer and maintain Government Procurement Card

Lead on producing the daily Bank Reconciliation, alerting wider contributors to new queries requiring resolution

Assist with the production of various external reports

Provide support across the team with the aim of removing single point of failure

Provide Support to Finance Team as required


Qualifications and Experience Essential:

Experienced finance officer
Ability to manage multiple task requiring frequent communication, organisation and time management skills
Experience of using Microsoft Applications such as Excel and Word
Good communication skills

Pay and Benefits:
£12.36 per hour
28 days holiday (Incl Bank Holidays) rising to 33 days (incl) after 12 weeks
Initial role will be Work From Home - However - Once back at the office there is free on site parking
Close to local bus routes
Assignment until December 2021
