Finance Officer Health Education England NHS Band 4 £9.28 rising to £10.79 after weeks

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5pm 37.5 hours per week

Job Description

The primary purpose of this role is to provide support to the National financial management team.
This will include:
Review of budget report information including journal input where required
Provision of advice to budget holders ensuring compliance with corporate policies/guidance and highlighting any best practice
Work with National staff to promote improvement of payment performance in line with statutory requirements
Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with a wide range of staff and stakeholders including HEE finance colleagues and budget holders.
Production and maintenance of records and working papers to an audit able standard

Whilst making use of available technology, there is a requirement to travel across the region on a regular basis.
Experience in the NHS or Oracle system will be advantageous
